Once Upon A Pony

For those of you who may have had little "Pixie Anne" attend your pony party or you may have had a ride on her at a fete or beach or markets!!

A few months ago, she was diagnosed with having Cushings Disease.

This is a life term condition for her now and some equines get it from the age of 14 years.

Pix is on medication and is doing fantastic!!

In 6 months she went from healthy and good weight to skin and bone!! She is on the way back to gaining her condition which is a great relief!!

This beautiful girl had a life of severe abuse and has come so far in loving a human and trusting again.
She has a huge hold of my heart.

Pixie Anne is now retired from doing pony rides.
We are investing our time into her health and happiness. Once she gets back to condition, she may go into another area of our business visiting kindies and child care centres for cuddles and storytime which we hope to introduce in the very near future.

Regardless of her condition, she has a forever home with me and Once Upon A Pony. 😍💖

Hello to all!!

Firstly I extend a HUGE "APOLOGY" for lack of contact with Once Upon A Pony for these past few weeks.

Due to having exhaustion from presently juggling two jobs and overdoing it, I became constantly physically drained and mentally fatiqued. I was so run down and mentally forgetful I had 3 minor accidents while travelling within a few weeks of each other.
Luckily no other was involved or injured each time.

My last incident I was heading to my other workplace not Once Upon A Pony,
with my float attached after dropping ponies to vets. Went my usual route to work going under a low bridge and result is in the photos!!!

So lucky no ponies on board.

I am in stages of repairs on the float and I am taking some "time out" till end of October 2017 to rest up!!

It's ridiculous pushing oneself to this point where these incidents occurred to make me realize how stupid of me to reach this level of danger for myself and moreso others.

I thank you all for supporting my work with Once Upon A Pony.
I Thankyou for your patience and understanding during this time.

Please continue with your enquiries and I will still take bookings for November onwards.
My ponies, crew and I look forward to celebrating with you from November 2017.

Little Lavender getting colourful for an afternoon visit to surprise a little 3 year old Bella (aka Dora the Explorer).
Being curiously watched on here by the handsome Tankalicious!!!

Today we celebrated with Amelia and Benjamin who turned 6 today.

Our rainbow unicorns Lavender and Ziggy took party guests on trails through Australian bushland which was a pleasant surprise!!

It was so serene and a fun experience for all the guests and us at Once Upon A Pony.
Much needed after a costume malfunction in Lavender's horn constantly disappearing but didn't hinder any of the children having a good time.

Little Lavender as "Sparky" from Sheriff Callie's Wild West.
So proud of this little wonder horse. She had to tackle the pony party on her own as my other much bigger pony who was "Sheriff Callie" was not feeling in a party mood!!!
These situations can happen and although a disappointing feeling, the family, friends, birthday twins and all the children were all so generous with their understanding and supportive of the situation at hand.
The children were impeccable with their patience and really enjoyed the little blue pony.

Back at home with her family after her wash and rub down she will still be blue for quite some time!!!😅

From us to you at Once Upon A Pony, the merriest Christmas and a fantabulous 2017 to come.
May you all keep safe keep happy show love and compassion. Practice being more positive and mindful. Spread joy and tolerance. Learn that nothing is a failure, they are purely lessons in life. Understand we can heal ourselves and others by being more openminded, considerate nurturing willing and able to forgive even when it's a challenge to forget. Believe in self and others around you to build confidence. Be truthful and accept and simply just "be!!!"

After a short spell over Christmas and New Year, we will be back for more pony riding fun, so think of some themes for your next event so we can accommodate our little ponies to bring imagination and fun to your door!!

Thankyou so very much for all your support and custom and getting behind Once Upon A Pony with all your likes and shares. It means so much to us. I still have quite a way to get Once Upon A Pony to the standard of ideas I am aiming for. Your patience and understanding towards my very new and small business/hobby is received gratefully.

Wow!!! A rainbow extravaganza!!!! This is a party to remember!!!!🎂😄
Birthday girl Heidi wanted rainbow unicorns for her 5th birthday celebration and her family and wonderful neighbours went above and beyond.
It was magical. It was beautiful. It was entertaining. My staff and I were spoilt with generous kindness and hospitality.
I felt like it was my birthday!!😊

I don't know who has more fun!!! This was our first "Toy Story" themed party. Ziggy my brown pony was "Bullseye" and Lavender came as "Kjeck" from "Frozen."
Despite some slight rainfall and making hair colour spray smudge all over ponies and partygoers, nothing dampened this fun time had by all of us!!
I enjoy these themed experiences requested by you all and look forward to plenty more.

Wonderful news!!! Kia the Rottweiler has found a beautiful forever home with a wonderful family. Both Kia and family fell in love which each other at first sight. Fantastic outcome. Stoked!!!

Hello everyone

I wish to inform you all that for the next fortnight commencing Saturday 4th June Once Upon A Pony will not be attending Mt Cotton Park for pony rides.
Although wet weather is upon us, I am relocating my ponies and have other events on.
I sincerely appreciate all of you for coming to the park and enjoying my ponies.
Once Upon A Pony will be back at the park as soon as possible so keep checking our post for when.
