Tomorrow we celebrate the wonderful fathers, grandfathers and father figures who play such an important role in the lives of our children.

Thank you for the love, encouragement, guidance, patience and endless support you give your families each and every day. Thank you for being there for the big moments, the little moments, the celebrations, the challenges and everything in between.

Your children are incredibly lucky to have you cheering them on, believing in them and helping them grow into the wonderful young people they are becoming.

From the first morning bell to the end of the day,
Our wonderful SASS team leads the way.
With kindness and care in all that you do,
Our school is a better place because of you.

In offices, classrooms, libraries and the school grounds,
Your dedication and commitment can always be found.
You organise, support, encourage and care,
And whenever you're needed, you're always there.

You welcome our families with warmth and a smile,
You help every challenge feel more worthwhile.
You support our teachers, our students, our team,
And quietly help turn big ideas into dreams.

From attendance and finance to records and reports,
From supporting our students to countless other tasks,
You notice the details that others may miss,
And somehow make order from our very long lists!

You comfort our students when they're having a hard day,
Find missing belongings and show them the way.
You fix, organise, listen and mend,
And always seem ready to help and work things out for a colleague or friend.

Your work may sometimes happen quietly behind the scenes,

Literacy and Numeracy Week 2026
Every day counts, every word matters

In Mathematics, 1/2 Grow have been exploring how far a toy car will roll and compared and ordered how far their car travelled using blocks. This activity helped students develop their measurement and teamwork skills in a fun and engaging way.

In Literacy, 1/2 Grow are developing skills by learning to segment words into individual sounds. This process helps them to understand how words are constructed. Once students have segmented words, they practise using these words in sentences, which encourages them to build their vocabulary and strengthen their writing skills. This helps build a strong foundation for their literacy development.

Kindergarten Nice have been learning to segment words containing the /ew/sound. In paired fluency reading, students are practising reading with a partner, focusing on decoding words, maintaining a reasonable pace and using expression. In writing, Kindergarten Nice are learning to create compound sentences by using the conjunction ‘but’ to contrast two ideas. We are proud of their progress in reading and writing!

In Mathematics, Kindergarten Nice are learning to represent ‘teen’ numbers as ten and some more. They have been practising sharing items into equal and unequal groups. It’s wonderful to see them developing their understanding of number concepts and how to share fairly!

Kindergarten Care have been exploring the concept of sharing in mathematics. They have been learning to create equal and unequal groups and are developing their ability to explain what makes groups equal or unequal. It has been wonderful to see their growing confidence and mathematical thinking!

In writing, Kindergarten Care have been learning to join two independent clauses using the conjunction ‘but’ to contrast two ideas. It is wonderful to see them developing these skills in expressing different viewpoints.

2026 Revesby Warrior Games (Fitness Challenge) – Online Fundraiser

Get ready for a burst of excitement, energy, and fun… it’s the Revesby Public School Revesby Warrior Games Fundraiser! Our students are collecting online sponsorship for their efforts during the Revesby Warrior Games to help raise funds for the Year 6 Farewell, while taking part in one of the most exciting events on the school calendar.

The Year 6 Farewell is a special Revesby Public School tradition and something students look forward to throughout their time at the school. It’s an opportunity for our graduating Year 6 students to come together, celebrate their primary school journey and the friendships they’ve made, and create lasting memories before taking their next big step into high school.

Event Details: The fitness challenge will be held on Tuesday 22nd September 2026 (Week 10).

How will this fundraiser work? We have partnered with online fundraising company Go Raise It. Collecting sponsorship online makes it super easy for everyone - no more door knocking, your child can collect more donations from further afield (friends & family living overseas, work colleagues etc) and no need to worry about handling cash!

How do I sign my child up to fundraise online? Each child can sign up for their very own fundraising web page to send out to collect online sponsorship from anyone, anywhere!
