INCIDENT CLEAR - Princes Freeway, Little River

UPDATE 1.20pm

All Geelong-bound lanes of the Princes Freeway have now been re-opened between Werribee and Little River, following a serious collision.

One lane is now open Geelong-bound on the Princes Freeway between Werribee and Little River.

Emergency services remain on scene and are directing traffic around the incident.

Expect significant delays on approaching to the scene. Continue to consider alternatives around the delays, including using the Western Freeway and Bacchus Marsh-Geelong Road. Allow plenty of extra time.



INCIDENT - Princes Freeway closed

Update 11.50am

All Geelong-bound lanes of the Princes Freeway are closed between Werribee and Little River, due to a serious collision.

↖ Detour using Werribee Main Road and Geelong Road, then Ballan Road to Balliang East and Geelong-Bacchus Marsh Road to Lara.

↗ Significant delays are expected on the freeway and surrounding roads through Werribee. Consider detouring early via the M80 Ring Road and Western Freeway to Bacchus Marsh.

👮 This closure is under the control of Victoria Police and the freeway will re-open only when investigations are complete and it is safe to do so.
