Our 8-Week Barista Training Program is designed for migrants and refugees who want to build their confidence and skills for working in the hospitality industry.

Throughout the program, you’ll learn how to:

☀️ The sun eventually made an appearance for yesterday’s Community Day, making it a beautiful winter’s day at CRCC!

🐞 We had a great time celebrating Science Week with Bug City: Building Biodiversity Together, and getting out into nature with our Wild Foraging Workshop.

♻️ We were also joined by Maroondah City Council’s Waste Education Team, answering questions and concerns about the new bin lid roll-out.

And of course, all the usual favourites were here too — 🧵 The WUP Shop, 🚲 bike repairs, 🔪 knife sharpening, 👕 clothes share and 🥕 Eastern Region Food Co-op.

It was all happening at CRCC yesterday! 💚

A huge thank you to Kat and Hannah, Jess, Clancy, and everyone else who gave up part of their Sunday to get involved and make it such a wonderful community day.

We couldn’t do it without you! 🌿💚
