Parents of Vivaldi and Corelli Strings students… unfortunately due to the weather the Jacaranda Festival will not be held this weekend. Strings students will no longer be required to attend on Saturday.

💜 A HEARTBREAKING ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE GOODNA JACARANDA FESTIVAL 💜

This is a post we desperately wish we didn’t have to write.

Due to the severe weather conditions affecting our preparations this week, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to postpone the 2026 Goodna Jacaranda Festival.

We know how disappointing this will be for our community. We feel it too.

Behind two days of Festival fun are months of planning, thousands of moving parts and an extraordinary amount of work from our volunteers, sponsors, performers, competitors, schools, vendors, suppliers and community organisations.

To get this close and have circumstances outside our control force us to postpone is genuinely heartbreaking.

But this is a postponement, not the end. 💜

🌸 The Goodna Jacaranda Festival will return on Friday 29 & Saturday 30 October 2027.

To every person who has worked on the Festival, supported us, sponsored us, volunteered, entered a competition, prepared to perform, booked to trade or simply planned to come along, thank you.

We are incredibly grateful for the support and understanding already being shown to us.

For now, we’ll take a breath, regroup and get back to work.

The jacarandas will bloom again.
The stage will come alive again.
And Goodna will have its Festival again. 💜

🌸 We’ll see you in 2027.
