Master Chef but Cadet style 🍽

On the 10th of November Army and Navy Cadets hosted their own personal Master chef! They spent the day cooking and serving up some fantastic meals to put to the test who is the better chef!

Everyone enjoyed themselves i think the judges a little more than everyone else 🤭 but until next time.

First Aid course:

On the 23rd of August a few cadets were provided with the opportunity to get hands on and learn a few new skills which will keep them and unit a little safer.

Everyone enjoyed the day to the fullest and was able to have a little fun while still passing.

GRAFTON:

From the 1st August to the 3rd of August our Cadets along side HAHSACU travelled all the way up to Grafton where they spent the weekend using their field skills and team work to complete challenges. They learnt plenty new skills and new friends as they also spent the weekend with most of 21 BN.

A big Thank you to Captain (AAC) Benfield for hosting this great weekend.

PT Night 💪🏋‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️ -15th September

Tonight the cadets put their bodies to the test doing several different challenging workouts, but all though they were tough they made sure to encourage each other and push through right till the end.

Everyone enjoyed themselves and definitely slept a whole lot better that night.

Well done cadets 👏👏

🎉 Platoon 3 Graduation | From Recruits to Cadets 🪖🔥

Tonight, 3 Platoon officially graduated from recruits to cadets under the outstanding leadership of Cadet Sergeant Hemphill. Over the past weeks, they’ve demonstrated resilience, discipline, and dedication—proving not only to their peers, but more importantly to themselves, that they are capable of achieving great things.

This milestone marks the beginning of their cadet journey, and we couldn't be prouder. Each of you has shown potential, passion, and the drive to grow—qualities that will carry you far in the AAC and beyond.

We’re excited to watch your paths unfold and can’t wait to see the leaders, teammates, and role models you will become. Well done, Cadets. 👏💪

14th JUNE | SWIM TEST + WTTS 💪🌊🎯

Today cadets from 233 ACU, 213 ACU, and HAHSACU took on the challenge of the ADF Swim Test followed by the Weapons Training Simulation System (WTTS).

💦 Swim Test:
Each cadet began by performing a pin drop into the 6-metre-deep indoor ADF pool. From there, they swam halfway across, removed their life jacket, and treaded water for 2 minutes. After that, using any stroke of their choice, they swam the rest of the way—finishing by diving under a hootchie without touching it. It was no easy task, but every cadet pushed their limits and gave it their all!

WTTS:
Following the swim, cadets moved to WTTS, where—under the guidance of ADF personnel—they engaged in simulated weapons training. This hands-on experience is always a highlight, giving cadets a chance to sharpen their focus, aim, and discipline in a safe and controlled environment.

👏 Congratulations to everyone who attended today. You showed courage, determination, and the spirit of the Army Cadets. Well done!
