A lovely joyful fun filled Sunday afternoon with friends enjoying the Ambulance Committee High Tea at the Athelstane Club was another fundraising Event for our Paramedics.
The squeals of joy and laughter at winning one of the many prizes filled the room.
We would not be able to do any of it without all of our wonderful Sponsors who we appropriately name throughout the proceedings.
The afternoons work was made much lighter for the Local Ambulance Committee Members with the many Helpers including Students from the Rockhampton Grammar School who come in to assist us and we thank you.
A special acknowledgment always to our Patrons whose support we appreciate immensely and who we hope to see again at our Springtime High Tea Event later in the year.

Important Update! Please note that the High Tea on 1st March has been brought forward a half hour to commence at 1pm.

CPR awareness was held today in Marlborough from 10am-1pm then at the Marlborough State School the pupils carried out some CPR after lunch with David and Loretta from Marlborough Ambulance Station.
The children remembered how to perform CPR after doing the resq R00 program last year. After a quick refresher, they were split into two teams of 5 and had a race, pink team won however very close finish, blue had a rate of 95% effective compression pink 89% which is fantastic.
