Today the Yandi for Change team brought together all of the amazing services we work with for the first time in a while. It was great to be squeezed around a table talking about how we all want better outcomes for our community. No better way to spend a few hours on National Close the Gap Day.

YANDI JULYARDI OFFICES ARE CLOSED TODAY.

This day is being taken in lieu of 26 January, as Julyardi chooses to change the date we recognise as a public holiday for
Australia Day, in respect of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the communities we work alongside.

The office will reopen as usual on Monday morning ( Feb 9th).

ALL IS WELCOME TO OUR PARTNERSHIP LAUNCH today.

Starting at 330pm at the Roebourne Basketball courts.

Come down and warnyardi about our exciting new partnership between Yandi for Change (Y4C) and Hedland Aboriginal Strong Leaders (HASL) and what it means for our little community.

We will have yummy food available and Ice Cream van will be present serving free ice cream.

If you have a child that will be entering Baynton West Kindergarten in 2026 don't forget to enrol them. If you need any help with the paperwork our Waja Guma staff are more than happy to help.
Our Nhaguma Marru sessions, that support our Waja Guma families with the transition to Kindergarten, are happening every Tuesday 9am - 11am.
Don't forget, if you need a lift in the Waja Guma bus, just let us know.
