TOTAL FIRE BAN - Wednesday 11 February 2025
Tomorrow (Wednesday) has been declared a Total Fire Ban day for the Central Fire District, with an EXTREME Fire Danger Rating.

Over the recent hot spell and Total Fire Ban days, Romsey and our surrounding community has done an outstanding job staying fire safe. Your vigilance and care for our community's safety has been noticed and is appreciated.

🔥 No fires in the open - including campfires, pizza ovens, incinerators
🔥 No hot works - welding, grinding, slashing
🔥 High heat forecast - stay cool, check on vulnerable neighbours

The CFA (Country Fire Authority) has declared an 'Extreme' fire danger rating and Total Fire Ban for the Central District on Wednesday 11 February 2026, which includes the .

🗑️ Bin collections will start early, so please put bins out tonight if your collection day is tomorrow.
👣 The Summit Walk trail at Hanging Rock will be closed. Other areas of the reserve will remain open as usual.
