🎉 NEW RECORD FOR ROSEDALE! 🎉

The updated grand total for our Good Friday Appeal efforts this year is an incredible $18,550.78! 🙌

That’s a massive $4,310.86 more than last year — absolutely smashing our previous record!

This result truly reflects the heart of our town. A huge thank you to our dedicated volunteers, our generous local businesses, our supportive community, and everyone passing through who stopped to donate on Good Friday 💜💚

We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you. What an incredible effort! 👏

🐰🪺Rosedale PC had the pleasure of hosting the East Gippsland Zone YAP riders for the weekend and had a nice surprise at our rally today with a visit from the Easter Bunny! Thank you Rosedale Fire Brigade for coming out to deliver lollies to our riders - young and old!

🚨 This afternoon we responded to a MVA on the Princes Hwy in Flynn. There was a large emergency service presence, yet we witnessed mulitple vehicles NOT slowing down to the required 40km/hr, nor giving us the space needed for the safety of all who were on scene! Despite having traffic cones out and sufficient space for vehicles to pass by safely, as a result multiple traffic cones off our truck have been run over and destroyed due to negligent driving!

In Victoria, you are legally required to slow down to 40km/h when passing stationary or slow-moving (under 10km/h) emergency, police or vehicles with flashing lights or sirens!

A Total Fire Ban has been declared for the whole state of Victoria - Saturday 24 January 2026.

Today our flag is being flown at half-mast. On this national day of mourning, we take time to remember the 15 lives taken so tragically on the 14th of December at Bondi.
