🚨 NEW DEFIBRILLATOR INSTALLED🚨

Rowsley Fire Station has a life-saving Automated External Defibrillator (AED) now available for community use at this station.

We would like to thank Bacchus Marsh Community Bank for funding this project and to CFA District 15 for assisting in this project.

📍 Location

* Station Entrance: Mounted on the exterior wall.
* Storage: Housed in a secured, alarmed cabinet which code is accessible when dialling 000, the calltaker will advise you of code.

⚡ How to Access in an Emergency

1. Call 000 immediately: Inform the operator you are at Rowsley Fire Station.
2. Get the Code: The 000 calltaker will provide the access code for the box.
3. Retrieve & Use: Open the cabinet and follow the voice prompts provided by the AED.

💡 Important Information

* No Training Needed: The device talks you through every step.
* Safe to Use: The machine will only deliver a shock if the patient’s heart requires it.
* Alarmed Unit: The cabinet will sound an alert when opened to notify nearby personnel and members of the fire brigade
* AED is also registered on the GOODSAM app.

The Pentland Group of Fire Brigades are again planning to undertake roadside burning this Sunday 26th April along Nerowie Road and Glenmore Roads beween Nortons Road and Bacchus Marsh - Balliang Rd Parwan from 11:30am. Smoke will be visible and traffic control will be in place for the duration of the burn.

Paying It Forward 🔥🚒

After a big 2026 fire season, the crew from Rowsley CFA had the privilege of giving back — firing up the BBQ and putting on a feed for the Pentland Group CFA firefighters.

It’s a small gesture, but one that means a lot.

Across a long and demanding season, crews back each other up time and time again — often in tough conditions, long hours, and away from family. Moments like this are about more than just food… they’re about connection, appreciation, and recognising the effort that goes into protecting our communities.

Strong brigades are built on teamwork, respect, and mateship — and that’s exactly what days like this represent.

A huge thanks to everyone involved across the season.

💰 COMMUNITY SUPPORT ANNOUNCEMENT 💰

What a brilliant cause to kick off our first Community Support event.

This Saturday & Sunday, The Stockman’s Table, alongside the Rowsley Fire Brigade and Darley Junior Football Netball Club Darley Football Netball Club — will be firing up the BBQs, with 100% of funds donated to the Bacchus Marsh RSL

We’re putting up 30–40kg of Stockman’s sausages FREE (and more if you can get through them all).

If you’re interested in assisting with a shift on the BBQ please DM Courtney Balcam, also a huge thank you to Courtney for organising.
