The F-3 classroom was buzzing with excitement on Wednesday as our Kinder friends came to visit for some fun-filled Book Week activities! 📚✨ Together, we read and completed activities based on this year’s shortlisted Book Week stories, including Frogs Are Our Friends, The Frog’s First Song, The Colours of Home and Beyond the Shore.
The students got creative making colourful masks, working together to create a fantastic collage and bringing their ideas to life through chalk drawings.

It was wonderful to see our Kinder friends sharing their imaginations, creativity and love of books together!

We're excited to invite all families to our Father's Day Breakfast on Friday 04 September!

Join us from 8:15am in the courtyard area outside W Building for bacon and egg rolls, pancakes, tea, coffee.

Some fabulous father's day gift packs will be raffled - so bring some coins!

This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the important men and caregivers in our community.

We'd love to see you there!

**The primary students might have some activities planned for their Dad's after breakfast.

Carnival Version 3

The Old Primary Oval and the Ironbark Stadium are both unfortunately far too wet for us to run the athletics carnival on them, so instead of cancelling or postponing again (because it’s actually looking to be a REALLY nice day on Monday) we’re going to hold the Athletics Carnival at the College.

We will have to skip a few events but will still have opportunities for students to compete in as many athletics events as we can and substitute in some novelty events and still have the tug-of-war, fashion parade and a scavenger hunt as well.

We hope that everyone can still get around the day and have some fun!! BBQ will be sizzling...

Families are still welcome to attend if you can - who knows we might even be able to rev up the coffee machine?

What we need is for EVERYONE to attend and make it the BEST Athletics Carnival EVER!!!

There are still places available in the upcoming Self Defence Classes this Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August at Wickhams Martial Arts in Echuca. The sessions are designed for young people aged 12–25 years, with separate classes for 12–17 year olds and 18–25 year olds.

There are four 90-minute sessions available across the two days, giving participants the option to choose the session that best suits them. The classes are a great opportunity for young people to learn practical self-defence skills in a supportive environment. Bookings are essential and places are limited.

Last week, our Year 7–10 students had the fantastic opportunity to get out on the course at Rushworth Golf Club, where they were taught by Dave, owner of Dave McPherson Golf Coaching.
The students were introduced to the basics of golf technique and put their skills into practice through three engaging activities focusing on:
🏌️ Putting – developing accuracy and control
⛳ Chipping – learning touch and technique around the green
💪 Distance – building power and improving their long shots

It was great to see the students getting involved, trying new skills and enjoying the challenge of golf in a fun and supportive environment. We even had a student get a hole in one!!!

A big thank you to Dave for sharing his knowledge and expertise with our students, and to Rushworth Golf Club for hosting us! 👏
