Early start for the crew this morning! 🚒
The team conducted a stack burn for a local resident, safely removing debris from their block.
Another job done safely, helping keep our community clean and fire safe. 👨‍🚒🔥

🔥 Another great night with the crew! 🔥
Tonight we had the pleasure of presenting appreciation certificates to some of the wonderful people who gave their time, support and generosity to help make our Open Day such a fantastic success. ❤️
We truly appreciate everything you did to support our brigade and our community. Thank you! 👏
We then finished the night with some training using the FLAIM Extinguisher VR Training System. What an amazing training tool! 🚒🥽
The crew had a fantastic time putting their skills to the test, with plenty of laughs along the way! 😂🔥
A great night of recognising our amazing community supporters and keeping our crew trained and ready to respond. 💪🚒

Our First Officer, Caine Ward, was invited to Queensland Fire Department Headquarters today to receive the Commissioner’s Award for Values. 🏆🚒
What an incredible achievement and one that is so very well deserved! Caine gives so much of his time, dedication and commitment to our brigade and our community.

What an incredible day! We are absolutely blown away by the amazing support from our Russell Island community. 🥰
Over 250 people came along to our Open Day today to meet the crew, have some fun and see what we’re all about. The whole crew had such an amazing day meeting so many wonderful people from our community! ❤️

Come along and join the Russell Island Rural Fire Brigade for a fantastic day of fun, learning and plenty of activities for the whole family! ❤️💛

🏠 Put the fire out in our fire house! — proudly built and donated by the amazing Russell Island Men’s Shed 👏
