Well, on the arvo of Monday the 23rd January is D Day. We have mixed emotions about selling the business, but we know its in good hands.
Both Doreen and I would thank all our friends and customers over the last 20 years, 99% have been fantastic and we have made life long friends, the other 1%, well lets not think about them 😊 We have seen a lot of changes over the years and sometimes it has been a challenge but we would not swap those experiences for anything.
We are still a part of our community, we will still be living in Rylstone. I will still be on Council and working for Bowden’s Silver which will certainly take up any free time I may have, its satisfying because both positions means I can still contribute and make our communities better, Council because we have a voice and Bowden’s because they support our local volunteer groups, events, business’s and local employment.
Doreen will be still hairdressing part time at Heritage Hairdressing in Rylstone, and we are looking forward to spending more time with our grandchildren.
We would also like to thank Peter and Phil for putting up with all the bu****it that goes hand in hand in taking over a Licenced Post Office and NSW Lotteries franchise, they have some fantastic fresh ideas for the shop and we look forward to seeing the changes. We will of course be here for when they want time off and help in anyway, we can. We wish nothing but the best for you guys.

I could write a book but I will stop 😉 So, in a nut shell, yes we have sold but you will still see us around our towns.
