🎶💃 The Big Chop at Ashleigh Community! 💃🎶
On Thursday, we were delighted to welcome the Funky Beats Choir from George Grey, who brought so much joy, music, and laughter to our residents 🎤✨
Their lively performance had everyone smiling, clapping, and enjoying a truly fun-filled entertainment session 🎵😊 It was a beautiful atmosphere full of energy and happiness!
Ohana services also kindly brought along some yummy treats for everyone to share 🍰🍪 which made the afternoon even more special 💛
A big thank you to the Funky Beats Choir for such a memorable visit — our residents absolutely loved it! 🌟👏

On Friday, Ashleigh Community came together for an incredible cause as we took part in The Big Chop to help raise funds for Cancer research and support. 🎗️
We are so proud of our amazing staff who volunteered to take part and bravely went under the scissors to support this meaningful fundraiser 🙌✂️
A very special shoutout to our beautiful RN Lauren, who courageously had her hair chopped and raised an amazing $600 all on her own! 💛👏 What an incredible effort for such a meaningful cause! ✂️💐
A huge thank you to Stephen for coming in and doing the honours of the cuts — we truly appreciate you being part of such a special day! ✂️👏

On Friday, our residents enjoyed a lovely morning walk together, making the most of the fresh air and peaceful surroundings 🌤️💚
We were lucky enough that the rain stayed away ☁️✨ It was a lovely start to the morning, filled with smiles 🌸😊

Today we were lucky enough to have Neirbos on site to help us celebrate International Nurses Day 💙👩‍⚕️

The team spent the day serving up the most delicious toasted sandwiches, wraps and drinks for everyone to enjoy! To say it was thoroughly enjoyed by both staff and residents is an understatement 😍

It was such a lovely way to spoil and recognise our incredible nurses and staff for all the care, compassion and hard work they give each and every day.

A huge thank you to Neirbos for bringing the amazing food, friendly smiles and creating such a wonderful atmosphere for our team today! 🥪☕🌯

🦁🌿 David Attenborough 100th Birthday Celebrations 🌿🦁

This week our wonderful lifestyles team, with the help of our lovely work experience girls, transformed our library into a David Attenborough extravaganza to celebrate his 100th birthday in style! 🎉📚🌏

The room was brought to life with stories, games, decorations and plenty of entertainment for our residents, Inspired by David Attenborough’s love for nature and wildlife, the space created such a fun and welcoming atmosphere filled with laughter, conversation and shared memories. 🐘🦋🐒

A big thank you to our amazing lifestyles team and work experience girls for all of the time, effort and creativity that went into making the day yesterday so memorable for our residents. ✨

☕️🎗️ Cancer Councils Biggest Morning Tea 🎗️☕️

Some of our lovely residents had the pleasure of attending the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea at the bowls club after being fortunate enough again to receive tickets to the event this year. 💛

It was such a beautiful morning filled with laughter, delicious treats and wonderful company, all while supporting such an important cause. Our residents absolutely loved getting out into the community, creating special memories together. ☀️🍰

To top the day off, our residents also won the trivia competition! 🏆

A big thank you to everyone who organised such a meaningful and welcoming event. 💐

What another wonderful Tuesday we shared here at Ashleigh Community Yesterday 💛

Our morning began with group exercises led by our wonderful physio Jane, and it was so lovely to see such a big turnout from our residents. These sessions are always a favourite and such an important part of keeping both minds and bodies moving 💪✨

Throughout the morning, our Manor residents also enjoyed spending time getting creative with arts, crafts and painting 🎨🖌️ It was a relaxing and joyful activity that brought plenty of smiles along the way.

We also shared a very special moment with one of our longest residing residents, who enjoyed her favourite KFC lunch as she celebrated the very last day of being 79 before turning 80 tomorrow 🍗🎉

Moments like these are so incredibly special to us - celebrating the little things, creating memories and making our residents feel loved and celebrated every single day.
We are so grateful to share these moments together here at Ashleigh Community ❤️

We are so excited to share the launch Ashleigh Home Care 💚

This is something we have been working towards for quite some time, and we are incredibly proud to now offer support that helps people remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

As a local organisation that has cared for our community for over 45 years, we are so excited to now extend our Home Care services to the greater Sale community and continue supporting people in a new way.

We can’t wait for this next chapter 💚

What a beautiful Tuesday we had here at Ashleigh Community!

Our day started with some of our residents heading out to participate in Cycling with Out Age 🚲
This has become something our residents absolutely love and look forward to each time. It’s such a wonderful way to stay active, enjoy the fresh air, share some laughs and spend time out in the community - with a blanket on the knee of course! 😊💛

After a fun morning, the afternoon was all about relaxation and spoiling some of our lovely ladies here at Ashleigh House. Residents enjoyed massage chairs, nail painting, relaxing foot, hand and shoulder massages, along with a few yummy treats 🍰💅🌸

A massive thank you to Tanya and Karen for coming along and helping make the afternoon so lovely. Your kindness and care were truly appreciated, and our beautiful residents absolutely loved having you here 🩷

Days like these are what make Ashleigh Community so special 🏡✨

Mother’s Day at Ashleigh House was all about celebrating the incredible mums, grandmothers, mother figures, and special women in our community 💐

We spent the day creating a warm and joyful atmosphere filled with laughter, connection, and appreciation. It was so lovely to see smiles shared throughout the home as families, staff, and residents came together. Moments like these remind us how special our Ashleigh House community truly is ❤️

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day so memorable and to all the wonderful women we celebrated, we hope your Mother’s Day was filled with love, happiness, and cherished moments 🌸
