Learning with 6A
What a busy Term it has been and we have just finished Week 5. In class we have been learning about persuasive writing and creating vlogs, to individually present our call to action for our local community issues, to our local MP Bisma Asif. We have researched her journey into politics and the areas that she supports, in order to help us really persuade her with our chosen community initiatives.
In HASS, have been learning about Australia in a diverse world and you can see our collaboration as we create posters showing similarities and differences between Australia and Indonesia. Did you know that both countries have bio-diversity in our native animal species?
Here you can see, that in 6A we take our learning seriously. Every day we set learning goals, and we check in with one another. On a Friday, we reflect on our goals and share our highlights with each other. Yes, I join in and share too!
We were very lucky to participate in a whole school drumming incursion and have included some of our rhythm and beats for you to listen to - this was a wonderful experience for our year 5 and 6 learners.
As leaders, our year 6 students and school councillors support our wonderful chappy breakfasts on Thursday's and Friday's. We love learning in 6A and we always, Ever Aim High! We are looking forward to seeing you at next week's show and share, book fair and book parade!
