Late last night Santa did a practice run around Route 1. He will be back at 5pm on Christmas Eve and is very excited to see all the smiling faces.

A sad day for all.

Today marks six years since Andrew and Geoff were taken from us while doing what they loved and believed in, fire fighting at the Green Wattle Creek Fire on the evening of 19 December 2019.

Their loss is felt just as deeply now as it was then. Their courage, mateship, and dedication remain part of who we are and how we serve.

In recent times, the firefighting community has once again shown its strength, standing beside one another with compassion, generosity, and quiet support when it matters most. That shared bond continues to carry families, friends, and brigades through the hardest moments.

Please continue to check in, lend a hand, and look after one another.

Always remembered.
Miss you boys. 💙❤️

Great news.... Santa is coming to a street near you.

We have negotiated with Santa and his helpers and they can fit us into their busy Christmas Eve schedule...

Santa will be travelling along the below route map from 5pm on Christmas Eve. If you don't live along these streets, you are welcome to meet Santa along the route.

Hope to see you all on the 24th.

Santa and his elves in yellow are on their way to your streets tonight from 7:15pm.

INCIDENT ~ STRUCTURE FIRE

LOCATION ~ Luddenham Rd, Orchard Hills.

DETAILS ~ Our Pumper and firefighters are currently assisting with firefighting operations at a single storey house fire. All occupants are safe and accounted for.

OTHER DETAILS ~ Firefighters have rescued a number of dogs from within the house and are working to extinguish the fire that has extended into the roof. More resources NSW Rural Fire Service and Fire and Rescue NSW are responding to the incident.

UPDATE ~ 7:25am. The fire has been extinguished and firefighters have completed ventilation and overhaul. Crews are now being released from the incident.

🔥🚒 Thank you for stopping by at the Riverstone Police Area Command Open Day! 🚓👮‍♀️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Riverstone Police Open Day on Saturday! Our members had a great time chatting with the community about their Bush Fire Survival Plans, property preparedness, and fire safety.

It was fantastic to see so many families, kids, and locals taking an interest in staying safe this fire season.
