This morning our members attended the Port Noarlunga Christies Beach RSL Dawn service with our long standing member Albert Fell laying a wreath on behalf of our brigade remembering our fallen brothers and sisters.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

⛽⚠️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT regarding recent Diesel Price Increases! ⚠️⛽

​As many of you know, the cost of diesel fuel has skyrocketed recently. In an effort to keep our trucks on the road without breaking the bank, the Seaford CFS is proud to unveil our new Sustainable Rapid Response Initiative (SRRI).

​🚒 Introducing the "Seaford Super-Pumper" (Patent Pending)!
​This cutting-edge, ultra-high-performance appliance boasts:
💨 Mandatory 5-person pedal-power.
🥛 Zero Emissions (apart from when our captain drinks too many protein shakes).
💧 High-pressure hose attachments... powered by a giant bicycle pump we found in the shed.
🗺️ A maximum top speed of 12km/h (3km/h up a slight incline).

​So if you see us today, don't forget to HONK TO SUPPORT OUR MUSCLES! We promise we'll eventually get there.

Yesterday, alongside a member from McLaren Flat SA Country Fire Service, three of our crew responded to Aldinga Airfield to assist with refilling water-bombing aircraft working on a nearby fire 5km East of Willunga ✈️🔥

At Seaford, we don’t just respond to bushfires and floods in our trucks. We also have a 4WD that helps us get down to the airbase quickly when support is needed 🚙💨

Once on site, our crew sets up a portable pump and connects it to the large water tanks on site. Depending on the aircraft requirements, we may also add foam into the mix.

From there, it’s straight into action—filling these water bombers with up to 3,000 litres at a time, often in just a few minutes 💧⏱️

Even with a bit of recent rain and cooler temperatures, the risk isn’t gone. It’s a timely reminder for everyone to stay vigilant and be bushfire ready.

As always, our crews are ready to respond—day or night 🚒

We have commenced our recruitment for 2026!

Who are we? 🚒
Seaford CFS is a volunteer brigade who responds 24/7, 365 days a year. Our brigade
attends a vast range of emergencies such as bushfires, car accidents, structure fires,
vehicle fires, fallen trees, fire alarms, in doing this with work closely in assisting other
emergency agencies such as the SAPOL, MFS and SAAS.

We train every Monday night and spend our time practicing a range of skills, learning
new skills and having lots of fun and laughs along the way.

What will you do?
Your role as a part of our bridge will be crucial and we will enroll you in a range of CFS,
and externally run courses to assist you in being ready.

The only requirement we ask is that you need to live within a 3km radius of our station
or within 4 minutes of the station. This is due to the time sensitive nature of our work
meaning we must get our trucks rolling within a certain time frame

You also need to be 18 years of age to join the brigade as a firefighter

🗳️ Election Day is collection day!

You’ll find our members at the following locations on election day, the 21st of March between 9am and 4pm:

📍 Seaford Rise Primary School
📍 South Port Primary School
📍 Moana Primary School

Our members will have donation tins and QR codes for electronic donations raising funds towards new equipment for our station and trucks!

If you see one of our members, make sure to come over and say hello! 👋

Noarlunga SES will have sandbags available for collection from the corner of Lindsay and Brian Roads Lonsdale for any community members looking to prepare for Adelaide's wash out!

As we all brace for the wild weather remember to call 132 500 and press 1 for emergency assistance during floods and storms and call 000 for life-threatening emergencies.

Incidents & Warnings

The busy season continues for us here at Seaford CFS

This afternoon our 34 Appliance responded to assist MFS appliances and long with other other CFS Brigades with a fire in the Sheidow Park area in between Lonsdale highway and the Southern Expressway

Not long after our 34P appliance was also paged to assist

On arrival crews found a going fire deep down in the gully with extremely rocky and steep terrain on. Its sides of the gully, CFS crews using 4WDs managed to access the fire

One truck of our crews have new departed the fire ground with a further truck remaining for the next couple of hours

Many thanks to both Electranet and the CFS foundation for purchasing our 2 new breathing apparatus sets on our 34 appliance

This now allows our extra appliance to respond to a bigger variety of when our community is in need

🚒 The last 72 hours have kept crews busy at Seaford CFS.

Our members have responded to multiple incidents, working alongside our colleagues from the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service, including:

🔥 Grass fire off River Rd
🔥 Grass fire at the airfield
🔥 Scrub fire in Moana Sands Conservation Park
🔥 Small backyard fire in Seaford Heights

In addition to these incidents, just before 3:00am this morning our crews were paged alongside other appliances within our group to assist at a fire in Macclesfield.

A big effort from all involved to keep our community safe. 👏
