If you are having trouble with your free to air tv reception being pixelated and unreliable the government solution has been the introduction of a satellite dish based free to air system called VAST. The channels are beamed up to the satellite from the Northern Territory. What this means to you the viewer is that the Channel 9 option via this system is called Imparja, it has a different watermark on the screen instead of WIN and will cut to different ads, the content however is 99% the same as if you were watching WIN 9 through your antenna.
The local news is broadcast somewhat differently but all the local Gladstone and Bundaberg news channels are there and upon installation I can show you this.
As these channels are beamed up to the same satellite that brings you Foxtel pay tv if you already have a Foxtel/Austar dish on your roof I can get this system going for you (at the location the existing operational Fox outlet for $350. If you have no dish I can fit and instal an entire system to one location of your choice for $750. Please be advised this system includes one operational VAST decoder and if you would like to be able to watch a separate VAST channel in a separate room you will need a second decoder.
