The Seville War Memorial Committee will once again be hosting a commemorative Dawn Service at the iconic Seville War Memorial - the first service since the damage to the memorial was repaired.

Friday April 25th, 2025
5.45am
Seville Water Play Park
(cnr Warburton Hwy & Seville-Monbulk Rd)

Free community breakfast after the service.

One week out from our 2024 ANZAC Dawn Service at the Seville War Memorial ! We have a few announcements to make in the coming days, as we lock in the agenda, so please stay tuned for more posts.

Firstly, we are delighted to share with you, that our friends at M Tucker and Sons are sponsoring the hire of a PA system, and sound engineer for day (5.45am Dawn Service, and then following into the ANZAC matches at the Seville Football Netball Club).

This will ensure the community attending the ANZAC events can hear the services, speakers and musicians, as they lead us in a day of reflection and remembrance.

We are also pleased to confirm the New Zealand National Anthem will be added to this years service. 🇦🇺🇳🇿

We are absolutely shattered to learn the Seville War Memorial has been extensively damaged...... such disrespect for the local service persons this was built to acknowledge, and their families, and our Township group spent YEARS fundraising to help build this, for it to be destroyed in a few minutes... whom ever is responsible must be found and held to account - share in our outrage, someone must know something... if you live close by, please check any security footage from the last few days and if you find anything please report to police... :'(
