Seymour Fire Brigade is honoured to have been invited to attend this year’s Vietnam Veterans Day commemorations.

Members of our brigade will proudly attend to pay our respects and show our gratitude to the men and women who served during the Vietnam War, and to recognise the service, sacrifice and lasting contribution of our veterans and their families.

As part of the commemorations, members of Seymour Fire Brigade will also have the privilege of laying a wreath in remembrance of those who served and those who never returned home.

Seymour Fire Brigade is proud to introduce our redesigned brigade logo.

Our original logo has been an important part of our brigade’s identity and history. When we were unable to locate a suitable copy, a generous graphic designer donated their time and expertise to carefully recreate and enhance it.

While the logo has been refreshed, its identity remains unchanged. The original elements have been preserved, with every detail refined to create a high-quality representation of the badge our brigade has proudly carried.

Surrounding the logo is the CFA 8-point star, representing the eight values of the Country Fire Authority and the principles that guide our members in serving our community.

Our history. Our values. Our community. Our future.

We are incredibly proud to carry our heritage forward into the next chapter of Seymour Fire Brigade.

A sincere thank you to the graphic designer Shazelle SCS Graphic Designs who generously gave their time and talent to help preserve a piece of our brigade’s history.

🚨 SLOW DOWN. LIVES ARE ON THE LINE. 🚨

Every day, emergency service personnel work on the side of our roads to protect and assist our community. Whether it’s firefighters, police, ambulance or SES , they all face the risks of passing traffic while responding to emergencies.

That’s why local emergency service agencies across the Seymour area have come together with one important message:

🚗 Slow down when approaching emergency scenes.

Taking a few extra seconds to reduce your speed and stay alert can make a life-saving difference. It helps protect the dedicated responders working just metres from passing vehicles and ensures everyone has the best chance of returning home safely.

Please take a moment to watch and share this important video to help spread the message throughout our community.

✅ Slow down
✅ Stay alert
✅ Help keep our emergency responders safe

Together, we can make our roads safer for everyone.
