Today is a shout out to our INVALUABLE Shepparton DMO workshop & staff.

For those who aren't aware, DMO stands for District Mechanical Officer.
CFA DMO's are specialized mechanics, that provide 24/7 support to fire appliances, both on & off fire grounds.

Yesterday we developed a leak in our Ultra High Pressure Hose. This afternoon they have jumped straight in and fitted a replacement reel, & hose, to our truck so we can keep protecting the Shepparton East community, as well as those surrounding us.

We’re incredibly grateful for your expert work and ongoing support. Thank you DMO's. 🚒

On Monday night the Shepparton East Fire Brigade attended the Greater Shepparton City Council Volunteer Reconciliation Awards.
We are proud to say we had two members being nominated for their Long Serving Volunteering and the S.E CFA having been nominated for their Efforts in Volunteer Team.
We would like to say congratulations to every volunteer on their Nominations from around the Greater Shepparton City Council, all well deserved!
Congratulations to the winners of the four categories. It's unfortunate that our two members didn't take out the award and their support not only in the CFA but many other committee's and clubs. Has not gone unnoticed and we are grateful for everything you do.

Today is International Firefighters Day, celebrated on the feast day of Saint Florian, patron saint of firefighters (and chimney sweeps and soapmakers).

Help us celebrate all firefighters around the world and recognize their valuable contribution.

We also take the time to thank those behind the scenes, whether members, families, employers or friends, who allow us to do what we can.

🌺 ANZAC Day – Lest We Forget 🌺

Today, the members of the Shepparton East CFA pause to honour and remember the courage, sacrifice, and mateship of all those who have served and continue to serve our country on ANZAC Day.

We reflect on the legacy of the ANZACs—ordinary people who showed extraordinary bravery in the face of adversity. Their spirit lives on in our community, in the way we stand by one another, lend a hand in times of need, and serve with pride.

Today, we pay our respects to those who gave everything, and we thank all who have worn the uniform.

We have turned in our tins, & need to say a HUGE thankyou to our community.

The Shepparton East Brigade has raised a total of $1919.30 for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

The Shepparton East General Store & Post Office raised a total of $168, which is ON TOP of the amount raised by the brigade.

We also need to do a 'Shout Out' to Always Fresh in Corio St, for not only providing us with a very needed lunch break, & on top of planning on donating themselves at the end of trade today, have thrown in $100 whilst we were there!

The total for the Shepparton & Shepparton East Communities stands at $12,363.95 at 3.30pm, with more able to be phoned through, or donated online if people wish to help contribute!
