Sheringa Hall

Sheringa Hall One of the oldest, functioning halls remaining on the Eyre Peninsula. Built in 1888, the hall has a rich history.

It was a church, school, and many community dances were held here. Now, it is mostly used for the annual Christmas tree party

Phew! What a day it was on Saturday!! We have managed to catch our breath and reflect on the fundraising evening.
We can’t thank everyone enough- the sponsors, the supporters, and of course, the Sheringa Hall Committee volunteers for their amazing effort putting the pizzas together!
We sold 88 pizzas which were absolutely delicious.
We were blown away by the money raised through the auction- a staggering $12,270 and we had 22 registered bidders!
So, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to everyone who supported us, big or small,

And our final thank you goes to our Major Sponsor, Carrs' Seeds. Without their drive and passion to support small communities, this auction wouldn’t be happening. Not only have they organised the majority of the sponsors, Carrs’ Seeds are also donating 600kg of Laucke Mills Stock feed pellets!
They are also supporting the Sheringa Hall through a donation for every pallet of lick blocks sold into the community.
