Thank you to everyone who joined us for our community walk to say NO to bullying. It was wonderful to see our students, staff and families walking together and showing that at Shorncliffe, kindness, respect and inclusion matter.

A huge thank you to our amazing P&C for providing a delicious breakfast and helping make the morning such a special community event.

Together, we can make a difference by choosing kindness, speaking up and looking out for one another.

Not sure what it's all about?

Over a couple of weeks, participating families and school staff will read the same chapters of the same book — at home. We then connect with our daily school life as conversations spark between students, pop-up scenes and activities inspired by the story start appearing around the school, and suddenly… everyone is part of the same reading adventure!
It’s about bringing our school community together through the joy of reading.

📚✨ BOOK WEEK KICKS OFF NEXT WEEK! ✨📚

We’re getting ready for a fantastic week of celebrating all things books and reading! 📖💫

There’s plenty happening in the library, including our much-loved Book Fair — so keep an eye out for all the exciting activities happening throughout the week!

🎭 BOOK WEEK PARADE – WEDNESDAY 26 AUGUST at 9am 🎭
Families are warmly invited to join us as our students show off their wonderful Book Week costumes! We can’t wait to see all the creative characters come to life. 👑🦸‍♀️🧙‍♂️🐻📚
Please note, our weekly assembly will commence straight after the book week parade.

Parent–teacher interviews will be held on Monday 7th September 2026 in the school library.

These interviews provide an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, achievements and next steps for learning.
