💜 A wonderful few weeks in 1 Lilac 💜

Over the past few weeks, 1 Lilac has enjoyed some very special experiences. We loved having fruit break in our beautiful new yarning circle, meeting the adorable baby chicks from our hatchery, and celebrating our amazing assembly performance with a pizza party. 🐥🍕✨

We also welcomed local police officers to our school. Students loved learning about their important role in our community, dressing up as police officers, exploring the police car and hearing the sirens. 🚔👮

We are so proud of our students for the enthusiasm, bravery and kindness they bring to our classroom each day. 💜🌟

Treat the family to a meal at McDonald’s and help support our school at the same time! Every purchase made during our fundraising event contributes to raising valuable funds for our new flex space flooring!

🌟 Star Struck Fundraiser! 🌟
At lunch and recess on Tuesday 9th June and Wednesday 10th June, we will be selling Zooper Doopers and lollies for $1 each on the soft fall.

Come along and grab a treat while supporting our performers and wish them luck with the big show happening on Friday night and Saturday! 🍭✨

What an amazing assembly we had today! Thank you to the incredible students from our Inclusive Education Classes who hosted and performed at today's assembly! Well done to 1 Lilac who stole the show in Week 6! We are so lucky at Shortland Public School to have such amazingly talented students! Congratulations to everyone!

Highlights from 2 Violet this week include a visit from Elky the Police Officer, important lessons about Sorry Day and Eddie Mabo and some impressive progress made with reading and writing skills. I feel very lucky to be teaching Art Club with some very talented little artists and singing my heart out with our brave and dedicated Choir!
