Cars always reverse-parked in the driveway. A pair of slip-on shoes right at the front door. Clean socks always sitting within arm's reach.

Why do our Research CFA members do this? Because when you call 000, every second matters.
From the moment our pagers go off with your emergency, we have just 4 minutes to stop our lives, get to the station, put on our gear, jump in the truck, figure out the game plan, and roll out the door.

Those little habits at home shave seconds off our response time. We do it because we are entirely committed to getting to you as quickly as possible when you need us most.

Lithium-ion batteries are a type of rechargeable battery that power almost all laptops, mobile phones, e-bikes, e-scooters, power banks, power tools and cordless equipment🔋

They are highly flammable and can cause devastating fires and explosions in a matter of minutes ⏱️

Always charge your e-bike with the battery and charger recommended by the
manufacturer 🚲

A photo of the damage caused by an e-bike fire our volunteer firefighters recently responded to, believed to have been caused by tampering with the bike. Thankfully, residents called 000 quickly, preventing the situation from becoming even more dangerous ⚠️

Our volunteers had a big day collecting yesterday - thank you so much to everyone who generously donated. We’re incredibly grateful for the community support ❤️

Unfortunately, due to today’s weather conditions, we won’t be out on the roads again today. Stay safe, and thank you again to everyone who helped make yesterday such a success!

🚨 Support Skye Fire Brigade This Weekend! 🚨

Your local volunteer firefighters will be holding an Intersection Collection this Saturday & Sunday (16 & 17th May) at the corner of Lyrebird Drive and Hall Road from 9am - 5pm.

Every donation goes directly toward supporting the brigade and helping our volunteers continue protecting and serving the local community 🙌
