Dear Visitors,

We regret to inform you that the Cape Bruny Lighthouse will be temporarily closed to the public due to unplanned maintenance and painting work. This essential upkeep ensures the continued safety and preservation of this historic landmark. During this time, we will be addressing important structural needs, which include a fresh coat of paint throughout the lighthouse.

While this work is underway, we want to prioritise your safety, as there may be fumes and other hazards present in and around the structure. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this closure may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work diligently to restore the lighthouse to its optimal condition.

In the meantime, we invite you to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Bruny Island and look forward to welcoming you back soon to enjoy the beacon in all its renewed glory. Thank you for your patience and support.

Closed until the 13th of April. Only our Bruny Island Safaris bus groups will have access to the lighthouse.

Role Highlights:
- Casual Guide
- Two days a fortnight, with potential for more shifts next season
- Location - Cape Bruny Lighthouse, an iconic destination rich in history and natural beauty

Requirements:
- Passion for history and nature
- Excellent communication skills
- A friendly, engaging personality
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- First Aid
- Working With Vulnerable People.
