🍔👩‍🍳 Little Chefs in Action! 👨‍🍳🍔
Our Kindergarten learners had so much fun in cooking class last week, making their very own delicious sliders! 🥰
Our little chefs got busy cracking and whisking eggs, measuring and adding herbs and spices to the mince, and carefully chopping the salad ingredients. There was lots of learning, teamwork and excitement as they worked together to create their yummy sliders! 😋
And the best part? Even some of our fussiest eaters were back for seconds! 🙌😂🍔

What a fun way to build confidence, practise new skills and discover just how delicious cooking can be! 🌟❤️

📚✨ Book Week with Jess Black! ✨📚
As part of our Book Week celebrations last week, we were thrilled to welcome award-winning author Jess Black to SCPS!
With more than 70 children’s books to her name, Jess has captivated young readers through picture books and popular junior fiction series including Tales of Mr Walker, Keeper of the Crystals and Little Paws. 📖🐾
Our learners loved discovering what inspires Jess to write and learning about the literary techniques she uses to bring characters to life and create stories that keep readers engaged.
A special thank you to Mrs Leal for organising such a wonderful and insightful experience and for helping inspire our learners to read, imagine and create! 💫📚

On Friday 21 August, our talented athletes headed to ES Marks Field for the Eastern Suburbs PSSA Athletics Carnival. With schools from across the Eastern Suburbs region competing, it was a fantastic day of sportsmanship, determination and school spirit!
The forecast may have promised rain, but the sun shone just as brightly as our competitors! ☀️

🌟What’s Been Happening in 2L?🌟
It’s been a busy and exciting term in 2L! 📚✨
In Maths, learners have been exploring arrays and multiplication, building and drawing rows and columns to represent multiplication sentences using hands-on materials.
As part of Education Week, 2L also enjoyed a special family STEAM lesson! 🧪🏗️ They worked collaboratively to design and construct Eiffel Towers using foil, testing their ideas to make their structures strong, stable and tall.
It was fantastic to see so much creativity, teamwork and problem-solving in action! 💡👏
Well done, 2L, on a fantastic term of learning and discovery!
