The Pilbara is one of the oldest living landscapes on Earth, rich in colour and strength.

As National Reconciliation Week for 2026 begins today, the theme “all in” feels especially powerful when reflected through the Pilbara’s lens.

At Pilbara Meta Maya Regional Aboriginal Celebration, we’re all in for this celebration.

Pilbara Meta Maya Regional Aboriginal Corporation (PMMRAC) was pleased to host CEO Susan Grylls and her team from the Pilbara Kimberley University Centres (PKUC), who met with our Board to express their appreciation for our support of the Pilbara Student Scholarship Program.
PMMRAC is proud to stand alongside PKUC in creating meaningful educational opportunities for Pilbara students. With a strong response in the program’s inaugural year, we are excited to see even more local students apply in 2026. The interest so far reinforces the importance of accessible tertiary pathways for our region.
We thank the PKUC team for their thoughtful visit, including the presentation of a Certificate of Thanks, a native floral bouquet, and delicious home‑baked treats. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for conversation around our shared commitment to championing education in the Pilbara.
Applications for the PKUC 2026 Scholarships are still open! If you are a Pilbara student planning to undertake tertiary study in 2026, now is the time to apply.
