🎓 Future pathways in action!

Our Years 7-10 Follow the Dream students enjoyed an exciting day at Curtin University's Kedala Djinanginy (Day of Looking). From exploring university life to learning about future opportunities, students embraced every moment of this inspiring experience. We can't wait to see where their dreams take them! 🌟

🎶🚀 Creativity in Action! 🌟

The Showcase may be over, but the creativity keeps rolling! 🎧✨

Year 7 student Ryder has already wrapped up an audio-reactive Unreal Engine project, complete with a Star Wars-inspired warp effect 🚀🌌, which he'll pair with his own original music.

Meanwhile, Olli is cooking up a dark hip hop beat 🎹🎵 using samples from our very own Sesame Street piano!

We love seeing our students turn imagination into innovation. The talent and creativity in our music program never cease to amaze us! 💡🎶👏

Today a select group of our Year 7 and 8 Specialist Music Technology students were treated to an intimate rehearsal of the Western Australia Symphony Orchestra preparing for their performances this weekend at Winthrop Hall.
Students enjoyed exploring the campus after the rehearsal and inspired to apply to UWA once they graduate.

It was a pleasure to welcome Hon Sabine Winton MLA, Minister for Education, David Scaife MLA, Member for Cockburn, and Sook Yee Lai MLA, Member for Bibra Lake to Lakeland Senior High School this week. 💚

Our guests had the opportunity to see some of the exciting things happening across our school, meet with students and staff, and hear firsthand about the learning, opportunities and experiences that make Lakeland such a special place.

We were incredibly proud of the way our students represented our school and shared their experiences with our visitors.
