Hi we are holding a VJ Day parade Saturday 14th August 1030hrs at Royal Victoria Country Park Netley
A chance to remember our fallen and to say thank you to our current Serving and Veterans Parade will be lead by Hampsire Caledonian pipes and drums with a Drum Head style service and wreath laying. All veterans are welcome to attend. This will be followed by families day picnic in the park, ( food supplied by yourself ).
We have had confirmation that the military education trust will be there with a variety of vehicles

Today's Flag raising at the Civic Centre to mark Armed Forces Day week.
Next year when our serving members and veterans are back on parade we will be able to show our support and say thank you

Due to the pandemic we have not been able to give you the day we would have like too, so would you like to join us and take part in a parade and wreath laying at Victoria Country Park for VJ Day followed by families picnic in the park ( supplied by yourselves )
All Serving or Veterans are welcome to take part
Saturday 14th August.
We will also be saying farewell to those we have lost during the pandemic.

At 99yrs old Capt Tom Moore raised in the region of £30,000,000
On his 100th birthday he gets to Colonel
So happy birthday Colonel Tom Moore.
We were soldiers once, and young.

It is our sad duty to inform you that this years City of Southamptons Armed Forces Day (AFD) parade on 28th June 2020 is cancelled due to the Coronavirus/ Covid19 pandemic. Following the Governments advice we feel it’s inappropriate to put the general public at risk.

We are already busy planning next year's Armed Forces Day on 27th June 2021.
We look forward to seeing you in safer times next year and thank you for your support
