BOOK WEEK 2026!

Today at Musgrave Hill Community Children’s Centre, we celebrated the magic of Book Week with this year’s theme, “Sound of Symphony”!

Our centre was filled with creativity, imagination and plenty of wonderful characters as the children and educators brought their favourite books to life. 📖💫

From costumes and storytelling to music, movement and joyful adventures, it was a day full of learning, laughter and a love for books!

Science Week🔬🧪

This week, our children have been exploring, questioning, experimenting and discovering the world around them through hands-on science experiences!

Science encourages curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving and a sense of wonder, while supporting children to become confident and engaged learners. 🌏💡

Through play and exploration, we’re nurturing a love of learning and connecting with the EYLF Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners.

Our little learners loved welcoming our local police officers to Musgrave Hill Community Children’s Centre!

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about our amazing community helpers, explore the police vehicle, ask lots of questions, and discover how police help keep us safe. Thank you for visiting and inspiring our children! 🚓✨

What a special morning for our Kindergarten children! 🖤💛❤️

We were honoured to welcome the Kombumerri Rangers for a meaningful cultural experience on Country. Through a yarning circle, Dreaming stories, Dadirri (deep listening), traditional music, movement and natural ochre painting, the children explored Aboriginal culture in a hands-on and respectful way.

Thank you to the Kombumerri Rangers for sharing your knowledge, stories and culture with us. We are grateful for this opportunity to continue building children’s understanding, respect and connection to Country.
