Spearwood Library is undergoing some building maintenance this week, so here is what you need to know:

๐Ÿ“š All Items due on 28 October 2023 will be changed to 31 October.

๐Ÿ“š The after hours returns chute at Spearwood is not available for this day.

๐Ÿ“š Reservations held at Spearwood will have an extended collection time.

๐Ÿ“š You are welcome to visit, return and borrow at Coolbellup and Success Libraries.
Coolbellup is open 9-1. Success is open all day 9-5 on Saturdays.

We appreciate your understanding and we'll see you back at Spearwood on Monday 30 October! ๐Ÿ˜

Based on your feedback and suggestions we have changed the shelving order in Adult Fiction.
All items will be now Z-A
Please ask staff if you need assistance.

As recently announced by the WA government, it is mandatory to wear masks in all public indoor facilities from 6pm tonight, Thursday 23 December, to at least 6am Tuesday 28 December.

This means that masks MUST be worn while inside the library from 6pm tonight. This a state government requirement.

Please remember to register yourself using the SafeWA app or on the paper contact register on arrival, and to maintain sensible social distancing where possible.

Matt Wilson attended the annual walk around Bibra Lake in 2015. It made such an impact on his life that he now volunteers with the charity.

We are celebrating the Olympics with a competition at all three of our Libraries - Coolbellup Library, Spearwood Library, and Success Library.
HOW TO ENTER ๐Ÿฅ‡
Guess how many Gold Medals Australia will win this Olympics and fill in an entry form at one of our libraries! We have submission boxes at each of our libraries for you to put your entries in.
You can make one entry per day, per library.
Entries cannot be made online - you must fill in a physical entry form to enter.
THE CATEGORIES ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ
There are three categories for the competition to ensure that everybody has an even chance to win over the course of the Olympics. Each category has a different prize.
CATEGORY 1: 400m sprint
Entries submitted from Thursday 22 July to Monday 26 July are eligible for this category.
The winner will recieve a $100 Jim Kidd voucher.
CATEGORY 2: 200m sprint
Entries submitted from Tuesday 27 July to Saturday 31 July are eligible for this category.
The winner will recieve a $100 voucher for Kawa Japanese Sushi Train.
CATEGORY 3: 100m sprint
Entries submitted from Monday 2 August to Wednesday 4 August are eligible for this category.
The winner will recieve a $100 Glowing Rooms 3D Mini Golf voucher.
The closest or correct entry in each category to the final Gold Medal count will win. If there is more than one correct guess, a winner will be chosen out at random from the correct guesses.
