Springvale Multicultural Men's Shed We work with men on employment skills, leadership and belonging. Our Art Group welcomes men who like to draw or learn to draw and paint.

The Springvale Multicultural Men's Shed is a place where all men are welcome, a place for men to understand the difference in others and accept those differences. We have a catch up Café each Wednesday for men to meet and talk over a cup of coffee, a game of cards or mah-jong. Our English for Work classes teaches skills for everyday English. We also teach skills for getting a job and have informat

ion seminars on topics such as employment, legal issues, health and nutrition. We can get help for men with family or health concerns from other support services.

Very sad day last week. One of our members Robert Sharpe's funeral was held last Tuesday. I along with about fifty other friends attended the service held at Tobin Bros Noble Park. He was only 60 years old, way too young. RIP Robert.
