Congratulations and best of luck to Past STGSHS student Reeghyn Beardmore (Class of 2018) on being named Captain of the Western Clydesdales for the 2026 BMD Premiership season.

This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to Reeghyn's dedication, leadership and hard work both on and off the field. We are incredibly proud to see one of our past students achieving great success in rugby league at such a high level.

Reeghyn’s mum also a past student of STGSHS Karen (nee Roberts) Class of 1991, was in attendance to witness Reeghyn receiving her jersey.

We wish Reeghyn and the Western Clydesdales every success for the 2026 season! 💙❤️🏉

Today students attended the grand opening of our NEW PBL shop, getting the chance to spend their hard earned ACEs from 2026 so far. We had a range of prizes to celebrate our students’ efforts in being Accountable, Engaged and Courteous so far this year.

All students who attended embodied our PBL focus of the week, being Courteous to staff and peers - well done students!

More buying days to come soon!

As part of their Red Meat Production unit, Year 9 Agriculture students visited Moonie River Feedlot this week.

Justin and Sharon shared valuable insights into feedlot operations, focusing on technology, sustainability, and the RSPCA's Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare.

A sincere thank you to Justin, Sharon and family for their time, knowledge, and hospitality in providing our students with this valuable learning experience.

🏸 Year 8 HPE students headed to the squash courts today and gave it their all!

It was fantastic to see every student having a go, challenging themselves, and demonstrating excellent sportsmanship throughout the session. Well done to everyone for their positive attitude, encouragement of others, and willingness to try something new! 👏😊
