Thank you to everyone who made it Coffee with the Council yesterday at CC's on Siegen Lane. Great seeing some old friends and making some new ones.

We talked about the Federal grant to remake Siegen into a safer, family-friendly shopping destination.

🌀 𝗦𝗧. 𝗚𝗘𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗘 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘

The City of St. George is closely monitoring Tropical Depression Two as it moves northwest through the Gulf.

According to the National Weather Service, the system is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm later today before turning west on Tuesday. The current forecast brings it into southeastern Louisiana as a tropical storm on Wednesday.

Residents should remain weather aware and take time now to:
✔️ Review household emergency plans
✔️ Secure loose outdoor items
✔️ Clear nearby drains and catch basins when safe
✔️ Prepare for possible power outages
✔️ Follow trusted sources for updates

The City will continue coordinating with the St. George Fire Department and regional partners and will provide updates as conditions develop.
