Level the Paying Field Our Mission:

To raise awareness. We all know that the disability pay gap still exists.

We are 4 OT students who are passionate about advocating for increased awareness of the gender pay gap to promote equality for working women with disabilities What’s more concerning is that a gender pay gap also exists within this population. WOMEN who have a disability receive LESS PAY than their MALE counterparts. 🙎‍♂️≠🙍

Advocating to level the paying field between men and women

with a disability. Women with a disability (seen and unseen) have the right to access fair wages. 💰💰💰

Providing education to the community about the disability gender pay gap. Using real stories of women with a disability affected by unfair wages to highlight the disparities they face daily. 🎓📖

As part of our mission, we hope to raise awareness, advocate and provide information about the gender-disability pay gap. We have been fortunate that several women have had the courage to share their stories over the past few weeks. We hope this overview will empower others to stand up for their rights and inspire employers to take action to ensure equal pay for ALL men and women. 👨⚖👩
