We recently visited the Stanhope Lactalis (Formally Fonterra) site to conduct familiarisation of the site, inspect new areas and ensure that our operational pre-plans are up to date and current.
These are great opportunities for team building, cohesion between organisations and keeping in tune with our local area.

It is with great sadness that this morning we advise that our friend and colleague Firefighter Bob King passed away last night after a short and sudden bout of illness.
Our thoughts are with Bobs family and friends at this time.

Last year we made an application to VESEP funding to replace the old PPC hooks in our Engine Room and replace them with PPC lockers, giving our membership more personalised and safer space for PPC.
We also realied heavily on local donations from within our community to help.
We were lucky to have the VESEP funding approved and with thank to CFA Land & Building Team recently had the new lockers installed.
While VESEP was a big contributor we could not have done this without the support of our community and our members, Thank you 😀

We would like to sincerely thank some of our local community members who selflessly rendered assistance prior to Emergency Services arriving at an accident in Stanhope on Saturday evening. This shows the level of community spirit and want to help others.

We know 1st hand the toll that these sorts of incidents can take on you, we want to offer you and others some resources that may help if you feel you need it.
