Update on our running total for today's Good Friday Appeal is $4334.80.

We do still have much more counting to do and have already surpassed last year's total of $4045.

Great work to our amazing community, be very proud of your efforts and help and support this will make to other sick kids and families.

I big and special thank you to all of those in the Stanhope FB and dedicated auxiliary members who have sold inland raffle tickets, collected tins across business in Town and walked the streets today.

Our Teams are out & about in Town, shaking the tins raise much needed funds for the Royal Children's Hospital. Donations can be made at the Fire Station as well

Congratulations to 7 new General Firefighters from Toolleen, Corop & Stanhope Fire Brigades who have recently finished there GFF training. Their training and completion of GFF will greatly increase the capacity to respond to emergencies in their areas.
There will be plenty more to learn as they progress through their respected Brigades.
Thank you to the Waranga Group, local Volunteer Instructors, local Brigades including Colbinabbin and helpers that have made this course happen and District 20 for their continued support.

* Protect your assets by limiting stack size and don't store bales along side machinery. 🚜

Fire Restrictions have ended in the Stanhope area. While this allows you to burn off you MUST still do this according local by-laws and state laws and by-laws registering all burns (including small fires). You cam register your burns by visiting firepermits.vic.gov.au or by calling 1800 668 511.

We understand that there has been a large amount of rain recently but a reminder that Fire Restrictions are still in force meaning buring off is not to occur unless you have a permit.
You can apply for local burn permits for agricultural burning (grass and stubble) via www.permits.vic.gov.au , permits conditions must be adhered to which includes caring the permit, registering the burn and having mineral earth breaks and water on site.
