Soldiers Memorial ..... part 2
The model of the Stanthorpe Soldiers Memorial is being made in a scale of 1:25 which is way bigger than the scale I usually work in (see comparison with a house in pic 2), the walls are thick so I'm making them with an inner surface and an outer surface with infill sections where needed, firstly I made the floor and I'll add the interior walls to it so I'm basically making the model from the inside out .....
Historical information, there was once a large Australian flag painted on the floor of the memorial but over time it was deemed disrespectful to walk on the flag so it was painted over.
