Well we are nearly at Election Day I won’t mind if I don’t get in but I do mind if the govt continue to ignore the basic needs of local west coasters let’s see who really cares about making a difference all I ask is that you just vote don’t matter what your preference it will take all of Braddon to make a change and make a difference I hope we all get the improvements we need in Tasmania

TRUE WEST COASTER SPIRIT

Ive been asked recently whats the TRUE WEST COASTER SPIRIT?

In my opinion its someone whom would give you the shirt of your back so to speak.

They will without asking, give you groceries or fruit / veg out of their own home or garden if you needed help.

They are first to stop an check you ARE OK? on a highway in Tasmania.

They are one who will volunteer within the community without any thanks or accolades.

They are within the first to throw their hand up to volunteer when help is required.

They always try to source what is required to help anyone.

They are honest hard working people that don't give nonsense an dont appreciate receiving it.

The key word here is VOLUNTEER. They would never just do it because they are PAID TO.

I want to set up an Anti-Corruption Commission in Tasmania.
Every other state in Australia has one, Except Tasmania.
It's time!
We need more Accountability, More Transparency so people can have faith in Real Police work being carried out.
The West Coast has a HUGE Drug and Alcohol Problem we need to address.
We need facilities to help Combat this Epidemic NOW!

We need meals on Wheels to get food to Our Elderly.
They are struggling and need support to stay home longer, rather than going into a home, usually on the North and East Coast, taking them away from their family and friends.
More Home Help Providers regardless of assets.
Palliative care is needed in our remote communities. More nurses required to protect our elderly from abuse.
The Education Department needs to also be held accountable for our youth. Keeping them in school and making sure they have the fundamentals for Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. At least to a Year 10 certificate age.
