It has been a busy and successful week of Knockout Sport for our R-6 students!

Our Year 5/6 Girls Netball team hosted the second round of Knockout Netball at Strathalbyn, taking on strong opposition from Concordia College and Colonel Light Gardens Primary School. The girls represented our school with great sportsmanship and determination throughout the day, sadly we won't progress but the girls certainly did us proud.

Our Year 5/6 Boys Netball team put on a fantastic display in challenging wet conditions at Aldinga, defeating both Pulteney Grammar and Cardijn College Aldinga to progress through to the Semi Finals. A tremendous effort from the boys!

Adding to the excitement, our Year 5/6 Boys Football team has progressed to the State Semi Finals for the third consecutive year following a strong victory over All Saints Catholic College at Strathalbyn. The boys are playing an exciting brand of football and are looking forward to the challenges ahead.
Congratulations to all of our students for the way they represented our school. We are incredibly proud of your efforts both on and off the field.

School Football Knockout Competitions

Our Year 9/10 and Year 11/12 boys football teams recently competed in the Statewide Knockout Competition, representing the school with pride, determination, and excellent sportsmanship.

The Year 9/10 team narrowly lost to Birdwood before recording a strong win over Roma Mitchell College. A standout moment was the boys lending players to the opposition to help balance team numbers, demonstrating outstanding integrity and teamwork.

The Year 11/12 team defeated Seaford Secondary College before facing a strong Wirreanda Secondary School side. Despite injuries and tough opposition, the boys showed great resilience and represented the school admirably.

Congratulations to all players for their efforts and the positive way they represented our school.

Meet the dream team! 🐾

Barkley, Errol and Nala have been bringing so much joy to our school community this year.

These three are proof that sometimes the best kind of therapy has four legs and a wagging tail.

Keep your eyes peeled — there's a very special (and very tiny) new face joining the family soon... 👀🐾

All of this was made possible by the Schools Plus Teaching Awards in 2024 and a whole lot of work by our dedicated Dogs Connect Team.

Cross Country Championships at Oakbank Racecourse

A brave but determined group of students represented our school at the Cross Country Championships held at Oakbank Racecourse yesterday.

Despite cold temperatures, rain, and challenging conditions underfoot, all competitors approached the event with a positive attitude and outstanding determination.
The course was wet and heavy, making the 3km track a tough test for all runners. However, our students rose to the challenge, pushing through the conditions to record competitive times and represent the school with pride.

Congratulations to all students who competed. Your commitment, resilience, and willingness to challenge yourselves in difficult conditions are to be commended. Well done on your efforts and for being excellent ambassadors for our school.

✨ What a night! ✨

Last Friday’s Year 12 Formal at Lake Breeze was nothing short of spectacular. The rain held off, the cars turned heads and the dresses, suits and hairstyles were absolutely beautiful. Most of all, the smiles, laughter and excitement throughout the evening made the night truly unforgettable.

A magical setting, amazing memories and a wonderful group of young people celebrating a milestone together. 💫🎓🚘

Have you met Nala? 🐕
One of the best parts of our 7-12 campus is our Wellbeing Dog, Nala. Our students tell us that there is just something about seeing Nala in the yard at break times or during class visits that makes the day better! Whether it’s a quiet moment together, a good pat, or a game of tug-of-war, Nala is here for our whole school community.
Nala loves to meet families too so if you see her around campus, feel free to say hello.
