Are you the owner of a Heritage-listed building or a contributory place located within a designated heritage area?

You may be eligible to apply for funding through the City of Subiaco Heritage Grants Fund. Applications are now open until 5 pm on Friday, 2 October 2026.

The fund is available to owners of privately owned properties or properties owned by not-for-profit organisations that are included on the Local Planning Scheme Heritage List, or are contributory places within a heritage area.

Reminder: Road closures are in place this Sunday, 30 August, as the Chevron City to Surf for GenU makes its way through Subiaco πŸƒπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Runners will leave the start line at Saint George's Terrace from 8:00 AM and make their way through Subiaco en route to City Beach, where athletes will finish their 12km run.

Road closures in Subiaco will begin from 7:30am, with streets reopening from 12pm.

Affected roads include:
Thomas Street
Hay Street
Rokeby Road
Railway Road
Roberts Road

The Chevron City to Surf for GenU race takes place next Sunday, 30 August, with road closures in place across Subiaco.

The run begins in Perth City Centre and makes its way through Subiaco en route to City Beach, where athletes will finish their 12km and 4km runs.

Road closures in Subiaco will begin from 7:30 am, with all streets reopening from 12 pm.

Affected roads include Hay Street, Railway Road, Roberts Road, Rokeby Road, & Thomas Street.

The City of Subiaco Photography Award finalists' images are now on display at the Subiaco Library πŸ–Ό

There was phenomenal engagement with this year's awards, with more than 1,000 entries!

The exhibition features 93 finalist photos who will now compete for a total prize pool of $5,000 in cash prizes, and they need your help!

Visit the library, check out the exhibition and cast a vote on your favourite photo to crown the People's Choice Awards Winner πŸ†

The exhibition is open until the 27th September.
