We’re not sure who we’ve upset lately, but it’s starting to feel like the Weather Gods have a personal vendetta against us

The team were all set to head out this week to install a brand-new playground at Clermont State School, but plans have been put on hold after the town was hit by a devistating 1-in-100 year flood.

Our thoughts are with the Clermont community and the surrounding areas affected by the flooding. We know this is a tough time, and we hope recovery is swift and support is close at hand. Once out there, our team will chipin and give a hand if needed.

We’ll be there as soon as it’s safe to do so, ready to start the job and bring some fun back to the school students when the time is right 💙 Keep Safe

🎉 First playground install for the year — complete! 🎉

We’re excited to kick off the year with this brand-new playground installation at Moore Park Beach State School 🙌

A big effort by the Play Poles team to deliver a fun, durable space designed for years of play. We hope the school community and, most importantly, the students absolutely love the end result!

🚗🌞 Sunshine Coast ➜ Jundah ➜ Sunshine Coast… and Yes, the Boys Survived 😅
Earlier this year, the region was smashed by devastating floods, but once things dried out enough to stop the utes floating away, our team made the trek from the Sunshine Coast all the way out to Jundah State School and then all the way back again. (That’s a lot of kilometres… and even more snacks.)

They battled 40-plus degree heat, relentless flies with zero respect for personal space, and the kind of outback sun that makes you question all your life choices. But as always, they stuck it out to deliver a brand-new play space for the students of Jundah State School. 💪🔥

A huge thank-you to the local suppliers, the accommodation legends who kept the boys standing, and most importantly, the truck that brings the beer. Without you, morale would have absolutely collapsed halfway down the Highway. 🍻😄

🎄 Merry Christmas from the Play Poles Team! 🎄

As we wrap up another massive year, we want to send a huge thank you to our amazing clients, our rock-solid suppliers, and of course, our hardworking staff and subcontractor teams. The legends who somehow manage to build playgrounds, install softfall, shade structures, shade sails and sports courts even when it’s 40 degrees and the tools have almost melted!

We appreciate every one of you for helping make 2025 such a great year. We couldn’t do it without your support, your patience, and your ability to laugh when things get a little… “Play Poles chaotic.”

I know, I know… I’ve been terrible at posting this year, but in my defence, 2025 has had our team running around Queensland like they’re on a statewide scavenger hunt. 😅

The boys have been so flat-out that their wives are starting to ask for photographic ID just to recognise them at the front door. 😂

🌞 Play Poles vs. 40-Degree Heat… and the Heat Nearly Won 😅

Earlier this year, Isisford, way out in western Queensland, was hit hard by some devastating floods, just about the same time the local school was due to have a new playground installed.
Sadly, the students had to wait, but once the mud finally stopped squelching and the ground and roads finally dried out. Our team braved the long drive in the middle of summer (and what felt like the surface of the sun) to install a brand-new play space at Isisford State School.

The boys pushed through 40+ degree heat, a million flies, and a distinct lack of shade… all in the name of giving the kids an awesome new area to play and burn off energy. 💪🔥

A massive thank-you to the local suppliers who helped us pull everything together & who accommodated, fed & provided a well-earned beer at the end of a long, hot day to our team. We couldn’t have done it without you!
