Over the past two weeks, participants from the North Social Group enjoyed a creative jewellery-making project. They began by designing colourful beaded earrings, encouraging creativity, social connection, and fine motor skill development. This week, participants used resin to complete their jewellery pieces, learning new skills and taking pride in creating unique handmade accessories. The activity fostered creativity, confidence, and a strong sense of achievement.

Tijekom protekla dva tjedna sudionici grupe u sjevernom dijelu grada sudjelovali su u kreativnom projektu izrade nakita. Izrađivali su šarene naušnice od perlica, razvijajući kreativnost i potičući druženje te međusobno povezivanje. Ovog tjedna koristili su epoksidnu smolu (resin) kako bi dovršili svoje unikatne komade nakita, pritom usvajajući nove vještine i s ponosom stvarajući jedinstvene ručno rađene modne dodatke. Aktivnost je potaknula kreativnost, samopouzdanje i osjećaj postignuća.

ACCS Brimbank and Maribyrnong groups took an active part in a Basic First Aid Training and Information Session.
Everyone agreed that the session was useful, practical and informative, providing valuable knowledge about how to respond in an emergency and potentially help save a life.
A great opportunity to learn, ask questions and build confidence in basic first aid skills.

Naše grupe društvene potpore Brimbank i Maribyrnong aktivno su sudjelovale u obuci i informativnoj radionici o osnovama pružanja prve pomoći.
Svi su se složili da je radionica bila korisna, praktična i informativna te je pružila vrijedna znanja o tome kako reagirati u hitnim situacijama i potencijalno spasiti život. Bila je to izvrsna prilika za učenje, postavljanje pitanja i stjecanje sigurnosti u vještinama pružanja prve pomoći.

Christmas has come early for Group Social Support Casey! To get ahead of the Christmas rush, the group decided to start some of their festive preparations early. Group members got creative making beautiful Christmas tree table decorations, bringing plenty of creativity and fun to the day.
After all, it’s never too early to be prepared!
We would also like to wish Vlado a very happy birthday! 🎂🎉🥳

Božić je stigao ranije u Grupu društvene potpore Casey! Kako bi izbjegli predbožićnu gužvu, članovi grupe odlučili su ranije započeti s blagdanskim pripremama. Uz puno kreativnosti i dobrog raspoloženja, izrađivali su prekrasne božićne ukrase za stol.
Uostalom, nikad nije prerano biti spreman!
Također bismo željeli našem Vladi poželjeti sretan rođendan! 🎂🎉🥳

On Friday, 07/08/2026, the Maribyrnong Group Social Support was fortunate to enjoy a beautiful sunny day and a pleasant walk outdoors. Group members also had a great time playing bingo, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for everyone.

U petak, 07.08.2026., grupa društvene potpore Maribyrnong imala je priliku uživati u prekrasnom sunčanom danu i ugodnoj šetnji na svježem zraku. Članovi grupe također su se odlično zabavili igrajući bingo, što je stvorilo veselu i ugodnu atmosferu za sve.
