It’s been one year since Labor made the right to disconnect law. Because someone who isn’t paid to be available 24 hours a day shouldn’t be penalised for switching off after hours.

Now workers are protected from unreasonable contact outside work hours. For families across Fraser, that means more time together, and the work-life balance everyone deserves.

Since we changed the tax breaks for property investors, first home buyers are facing less competition, and more homes are being built right across the country. That helps make housing more affordable for everyone.

A milestone worth celebrating.

I had the pleasure of visiting Klabb Ghannejja Maltin Western Suburbs est 1983 to mark 25 years in their current home. For a quarter of a century, it has been so much more than a building. It’s a gathering place where community spirit runs deep and culture is kept alive, passed from one generation to the next.

Milestones like this are a reminder of how much strength comes from communities who hold onto their traditions while building something lasting together.
