Last Monday, our Year 5 students visited Kamay Botany Bay Environmental Education Centre as part of their team building experience. The team at the EEC put our students through their paces, developing cooperation and teamwork skills. The students really enjoyed the day and got to know each other better.

Amazing results today by our students at the Sutherland Zone PSSA Swimming Carnival. Our senior boys' team have gone through to Regionals. Averry performed her 50-metre freestyle without fault, progressing to Regionals in this race. Luka has achieved well, also progressing to Regionals. Kai's hard work has paid off, with him achieving 11 years boys champion for the zone, breaking a record in the 50-metre butterfly in the process.
We wish these students all the best at the Sydney East Region Carnival on Monday.

Our SPS Debate Teams participated in a debating workshop at Tharawal Public School, upskilling themselves in for the upcoming Debate competitions. Today's session, led by The Arts Unit, helped the students develop essential skills such as critical thinking, public speaking, research, teamwork and active listening.

What a fantastic start to Kindergarten! It has been wonderful welcoming all of our families and getting to know our amazing students. We are so excited for the year ahead full of learning, laughter, friendships, fun, and unforgettable memories together!

What a fun day we had! Our Year 6 created a series of activities for the students to complete as part of their fundraiser for the Year 6 present, which will be the establishment of a pickleball court. Well done to each of the groups. The kids (and teachers🤗) had a great time!

Our Year 6 students attended the Surf Awareness program today. The water safety skills they learned in this program will help them make wise decisions in the future.
