💜 Happy International Women’s Day! 💜

Today we celebrate the incredible strength, resilience and love of the amazing mums of multiples in our community. Raising twins, triplets (or more!) is no small feat — it takes patience, teamwork, late nights, double cuddles and a whole lot of heart.

To all the wonderful mums in our Southern Sydney Multiple Birth Association family, we see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you today and every day.

Thank you for the love, support and friendship you bring to our community. Together we are stronger. 💕

Just thought I would share this with everyone

🚨 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

NSW Health has advised of recent measles cases in Sydney.

One of the exposure locations falls within our local area. There is 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 at the site, however people who attended at the specified time are encouraged to monitor for symptoms.

If you feel unwell, please contact your GP or health service and call ahead.

ABA runs online Breastfeeding Preparation Sessions designed specifically for
mothers expecting multiples.

The 2-hour webinar covers the essentials of breastfeeding 2, 3 or more babies and
will give you the opportunity to ask a mum of multiples anything you want to know
in the Q&A segment.
Topics covered:
· Getting started - including holding and attaching more than one baby
· Steps for a comfortable feed
· Expressing breastmilk
· How to tell when your babies are hungry
· Signs that your babies are getting enough milk
· What’s normal for newborn feeding and common baby behaviours
· Where to go for help and support

The last webinar for this year is scheduled for Saturday, 22 November, 12:00pm
(AEDT).

Whether your little ones arrived a few weeks early or made a sudden, life-changing entrance into the world far too soon, we see your strength, your courage, and your endless love.

Parents of twins, triplets, and higher-order multiples know a unique journey — one filled with NICU visits, tiny milestones, tangled cords, and enormous hope. Our babies, though small in size, are mighty in spirit. 💪👶👶

To all the parents who have held their breath beside an incubator, whispered encouragement through plastic walls, learned medical words you never thought you’d need, or cherished each gram gained — today is for you.

To our incredible NICU nurses, doctors, and specialists, thank you for helping our little miracles grow.

And to our preemie multiples, whether you are still fighting, growing strong at home, or watching over your families from above — you are forever our heroes. 💜🦋

We had such a successful day at our fundraiser BBQ at Bunnings today! 🌭🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support our club, and to the businesses that kindly backed us.

A special shout-out to Fettayleh Foods for generously donating the most delicious sausages – they were selling like hotcakes! 👏

And of course, this day wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing volunteers who gave up their Saturday to make it all happen. We’re so grateful for your time, energy, and dedication. 💛
