Swan Hill Lions Club Inc The Swan Hill Lions Club was formed in November 1964, and currently has about 26 members. The Club supports many local community projects.

Lions Clubs International is one of the largest and most active service organizations in today's world with approximately 1.4 million members in all inhabited continents. At the moment, in Australia, there are about 1500 Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs, with a total of over 30,000 members. Lions Clubs are part of community life, in the cities and in the country. Clubs are easily identified by their d

istinctive Logo, the trademark of our International Association, and the 'We Serve'; motto. Lions Australia is part of an international association, filled with people who are joined by the common desire to make their communities better, by using their creativity, enthusiasm and energy. The Club supports many local community projects, including the Annual Swan Hill Combined Services Club Classic. Membership of any Lions Club is by invitation only, open to men and women over the age of 18 years and of good moral character and reputation. Most Lions Clubs, including this one, meet twice monthly for a 'Dinner' and /or 'Business' meeting. If you know a Lion, you can always ask to be invited to a meeting. If you do not know a Lions member, drop us a message. The Swan Hill Club meets on the first Wednesday of the month (dinner meeting at venue to be confirmed ) and third Wednesday of the month (business meeting) at the Swan Hill Neighbourhood House.

The Swan Hill Rotary Clubs and Swan Hill Lions Club will be hosting an Australian Day celebration at Riverside Park on:

Monday, 26 January commencing at 7:30am continuing until 9:30 am.

Complimentary bacon and egg sandwich, fruit, tea, coffee and juice will be provided for breakfast.

You are also welcome to bring your own.

Entertainment will be music plus local musicians during the morning inc the Swan Hill Ukulele group.

Bring your own chair or picnic rug as tables and chairs are limited.

The breakfast is complimentary but anyone caring to make a donation would be greatly appreciated.

There will also be a coffee van where you can buy yourself a barista coffee.

On Tuesday, a few of our diligent Lions members and partners got up early and headed to the hospital to cook Bacon and Egg Rolls for one of the Hospital Teams. We love supporting our key community helpers and, from my understanding, everyone enjoyed their breakfast.

Thanks to those members and partners who were up early to make this breakfast happen.

Thank you to all the Hospital Staff and other emergency service workers for all you do for our community.

Some of our members helped out on the gates at the Show on Saturday then we had almost the full crew at the Swan Hill Market today. The warmer weather has hit the Mallee but we were lucky enough today to be able to have shade to keep us sun smart.
