The goal of the GambleAware NSW page is to engage with you and provide information about how to gamble safely, whilst reminding you of the free and confidential support available for anyone affected by gambling. We work to support anyone in NSW who is affected by gambling. We work with adults and young people, families, schools, councils, community groups and the gambling industry to help
prevent and address gambling-related harm. This page is managed by the NSW Office of Responsible Gambling. We’ll do our best to respond to any questions or direct messages within 1-3 business days. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
We welcome expressions of opinion but we do ask that your comments stay on topic and are respectful to others, their opinions and experiences. We may edit or delete posts that moderators consider to be:
• Abusive, offensive or unlawful - harassment or provoking other community members, swearing, derogatory language and expression of views that are racist, sexist, homophobic or sexually explicit are not acceptable, including in languages other than English. Defamatory comments or posts that violate laws regarding privacy will be removed.
• Personal attacks against other users, members of the public or GambleAware NSW staff members.
• Political in nature - this is a forum to discuss research, education and support for individuals and communities, not political parties and personalities.
• An infringement of intellectual property rights - respect and acknowledge original creators when sharing content.
• Spam - we do not accept advertisements, requests to endorse commercial products or services or to solicit donations.
• Personal details - this page is a public page and we will remove any comments including your private information or personal details such as email address or phone number.
• A violation of Facebook’s terms and conditions. We may block you from engaging on our page if you breach any of these guidelines.
