Things about MONEY you need to talk to your parents about before they GO👇
Not a fun conversation. But a much harder conversation when they’re no longer here.
🏠 What happens to the family home?
📜 Do they have an updated will?
💰 Where are their bank accounts, super & investments?
🔑 Who can access important documents/passwords?
👨‍👩‍👧 How do they want the inheritance divided?
🏥 What happens if they lose capacity before they die?
💸 Was money given to the kids a gift, loan or early inheritance?
❤️ And most importantly: what do THEY actually want?
Especially in migrant and Asian families, we can spend our whole lives talking about how to MAKE money…
but never talk about what happens to it when Mum and Dad are gone.
Have the awkward conversation while you still can.
What’s one money question you wish you’d asked your parents?

INDIA JUST HIT A HUGE MILESTONE IN AUSTRALIA 🇮🇳🇦🇺

Australia's migrant story is changing FAST.

India-born Australians have gone from around 411,000 a decade ago to more than 916,000 by 2026 — putting them right behind the UK-born population and on track to potentially become Australia's biggest overseas-born group.

And this isn't just a population story.

More families means more demand for:
🏠 Housing
💼 Jobs & businesses
🎓 Education
💰 Finance
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Larger family homes

For someone who talks about property all bloody day…

THIS demographic shift is something I'm watching VERY closely. 👀
Because Australia's next property boom might not only be about WHERE people are moving…

It might also be about WHO is moving there.

👉 Watch the video — this is going to be an interesting decade.

4 PROPERTIES I WON’T BUY JUST BECAUSE THEY LOOK CHEAP IN 2026 🚩🏠
Migrants LOVE a property bargain. 😂
Give us a big block, an old house and a cheap price and immediately we're calculating:
“Knock down. Build two. One for each kid. RETIREMENT SOLVED.” 😭
But sometimes that “bargain” is actually a financial gr***de with a FOR SALE sign stuck on it.
Here are 4 properties that make me VERY nervous:
🏚️ 1. Heritage-controlled property
You think you're buying a renovator.
Council might think you've adopted a museum. 😂
🌳 2. The giant backyard that LIED
Massive block = development potential?
Maybe.
Until the title/covenant basically says:
“NOPE. Enjoy your expensive lawn.”
📍 3. Cheap suburb… WRONG STREET
Two properties can be 500 metres apart and perform completely differently.
Don't just research the suburb.
Research the bloody STREET.
🚿 4. The 5–10 year-old TIME BOMB
Still looks modern…
but this can be when waterproofing, cracking, balconies, strata defects and dodgy workmanship start saying:
“SURPRISE! 👋”
And suddenly that cheap apartment isn't so cheap anymore.
None of these properties are automatically BAD investments.
But CHEAP ≠ BARGAIN.
Sometimes there's a bloody good reason nobody else wants it. 😂
👉 WATCH THE VIDEO — I break down the checks I'd do BEFORE buying each one.
Because the most expensive property problem…
is usually the one the listing photos conveniently forgot to show you. 👀🏠

Your parents can spend 30 years building wealth…
and their children can destroy it in 30 days.
I saw this happen with a client.
Mum and Dad came to Australia with almost nothing.
Worked.
Saved.
Bought one little house.
Raised the kids there.
And slowly, that little house became worth over a million dollars.
Dad used to say:
""One day, this will all belong to you kids.""
Then Dad died.
And something changed.
The family stopped talking about Dad…
and started talking about the house.
""I looked after him more.""
""You already got money from Mum.""
""Dad promised me this.""
Brother stopped talking to sister.
Christmas stopped happening together.
And I remember thinking…
Dad didn't work for 30 years for this.
He thought he was leaving his children wealth.
Instead…
he accidentally left them something to fight over.
So if your parents have assets…
have the uncomfortable conversation while they're still sitting at the table.
Because the saddest way to inherit your parents' wealth…
is to lose your family getting it.

My mum thinks I'm 32.. ahhaha .. I'll take that as a compliment..

As my mum is growing old..

she's getting more easy go lucky..

Don't stress over the small details and just have a 'laugh'

That's the way I want to grow old...

How about you?

Apparently I’m now a “TOP MORTGAGE BROKER” with “INSIDER KNOWLEDGE.” 😂

Daily Mail wrote an article about my thoughts on some of Australia’s underrated property markets.

Which sounds VERY impressive.

Meanwhile, the actual “insider knowledge” is basically me and my team speaking to everyday Aussies on strategy calls, helping them work through their property goals and seeing in real time what people are buying, where they’re buying and WHY. 👀😂

Over the last 6 months alone, I’ve reviewed 800+ property transactions from buyers all around Australia.

Different incomes.
Different budgets.
Different states.
Different strategies.

And after enough conversations, contracts, valuations and loan applications… you start noticing patterns.

The biggest one?

There is NO magical “best suburb in Australia.”

The best suburb for a Sydney first-home buyer could be completely different from an investor chasing yield in Queensland or someone building a portfolio in regional Victoria.

Sometimes the opportunity isn’t where everyone on social media is screaming:

“NEXT BOOM SUBURB!!! 🚀🚀🚀”

Sometimes it’s the boring place quietly sitting in the corner that nobody has made a bloody drone video about yet. 😂

Anyway, nice to see my everyday conversations with Aussies turned into an:

“INSIDER’S MARKET GUIDE.” 😂

Mum will finally believe I have a real job.

What if ONE investment property could produce MULTIPLE streams of rental income? 👀

That’s the basic idea behind a rooming house / co-living strategy.

🏠 One property
🚪 Multiple private rooms
💰 Multiple rents

But you can’t just lock seven bedroom doors and yell “ROOMING HOUSE!” 😂

There’s a strategy behind it:

1️⃣ Finance — Know your borrowing capacity and numbers.
2️⃣ Find the right property — Layout, location and rules matter.
3️⃣ Convert & comply — Approvals, bathrooms, fire safety, fit-out, etc.
4️⃣ Fill the rooms — Find suitable occupants.
5️⃣ Manage & optimise — More income can also mean more costs, management and compliance.

The goal isn’t just higher gross rent — it’s healthy NET cash flow.

Identify → Finance → Convert → Fill → Manage.

One property. Multiple rooms. Multiple rents. Potentially a very different yield.

Would you rather own 3 normal investment properties or 1 high-yield rooming property? 👀👇
